I have added a photo of our sweet table in my photos please could you lovely ladies ( and men) help advice me on what's missing ( except the sweets of course lol) its really bugging me as I have even numbers of some jars but odd amount of others so not sure how it should be, plus I have added a photo of a suitcase in decoration album does it look ? I am thinking of having it to hold confetti cones in and will make a banner for it but wondered if it looks ok or just tacky? The inside I've moved to show it comes away but does cover whole of bottom should I glue it to make it stay or leave it how it is? Really struggling to picture how things are guna be :/
Hope its ok to post here but thought more people might see it :) x

I know what you mean about it being difficult to picture it all together but the best thing to do is have a sort of mini dry run. A good solution to maybe holding the cones in the suitcase is cutting up toilet roll tubes in half, somehow make them varying colours of pastels (or whatever colour you prefer) and then place them in the case so the cones can sit upright (will help when people start taking them out and whats inside wont topple.

In regards to your sweet display it depends on what you want sweet wise. Remember your scoops, labels (if you're having them) and decorate them if you like with a little lace fabric of you can get sticky tape with a lace print.

Oo thats a good idea Victoria to keep the cones upright.

It might be a good idea to label sweets (especially if you have veggies who don't eat geletine so they can still be involved). Have you got a table cloth for the table for the sweet jars to go on? And bags for people to fill? Scoops so people don't use their fingers? X

I think the suitcase is fine as it is. We bought a case from gUmtr33 and put knitted dogs, knitted bride and groom, card sack and guest book in it. It was difficult to imagine how it would look as it's massive, but it worked perfectly.

You can get label kits in H0bbycr4ft for the jars.

The hotel will be supplying the table clothes and we have scope for the jars, haven't a clue what we are going to fill them in yet haha but will try the labels out I like the ribbon with the signs in it idea. Just not sure how to lay them out as they are odd numbers of some jars and even of others and want them to look nicely laid out. P.s the large one at the back broke :( so we are that short now so will likely replace it with a similar one. Would having toilet roll holders not take away from the suitcase inside? Was thinking adding few lines of elastic to hold the cones up maybe :/ dunno I'm really struggling to picture things but too early to get confetti x
