Yesterday I found the dress of my dreams but there were a couple of issues. Firstly, it was over budget, secondly the lady in the bridal shop was useless and not very helpful. I have seen an online company who can re-create the dress for less than half price. Just wondering if anyone had ever used and online dressmaker? They say they have been trading for 8 years and they are showing as being in Liverpool but there is no contact telephone number available - what would you do?

I would google the name of the site and look for reviews, try and contact some people who have used them before for bridal dresses. It is very hard to tell with a lot of these websites.
Personally I would stay away from it, if it seems too good to be true it probably is in my opinion :)

I would be wary with no way to contact them by telephone.. like above, search for reviews. But if you can't find anything I would be tempted to stay away xx

I would be very careful with something like that. The general experience is that you're not getting the quality you want and the after service is non existent. Technically this would be a counterfit wedding dress if it is made using cheaper materials but in the same design and therefore illegal and designers are trying to fight this.
I personally wouldn't order from a site that I cannot contact easily.
