    Hey,

I have been trying a new weight management programme called *********************. it's been great, I never usually stick with anything!! However this is simple and easily completed the 3 steps first thing. It's not just weight loss either it's energy and nutrition too which is a bonus as working full time and have a daughter as well as planning it's really given me a boost. My mood has lifted not so stressed out and patience is much better less snappy! Have lost quite a few inches in just two weeks as well as pounds on the scales!

Don't get me wrong there still isn't quite enough hours in the day but rather than falling asleep on the sofa at 9 I have been getting an extra couple hours to get some more bits ticked off the list. Have also found that I am sleeping better!

Anyone else find you can easily dose off on the sofa but when it comes tinned time your wide awake remembering all the stuff there still is to do!

Has anyone else tried it? X

managed a 2 pound loss last week so that brings me 13 pounds to goal weight buut i had my wedding dress fitting on saturday. is it possible to lose a slight bit more without impacting the fit of my dress (obviously not the full 13 pound) or should i stay the same now?

    TIA x

Well done on the 2lb. Did the dress shop say anything about it to you when you went to your appointment? I think I am only able to change my dress by 1 dress size but also if you have a corset back compared to a zip - that might make a difference. Might be worth giving them a call to see?

    thanks Lesley,

She didn't really say anything other than it needs taking in quite a bit. Unfortunately I have a zip i think i just might maintain now but it is a long time to maintain for as wedding isn't until september and i could have been to target by then x

    Thanks ladies.
Done rather well today remembered to eat breakfast and dinner (usually forget both). Had a nice tuna salad for dinner and turned down home made burgers and chocolate cake! Not sure what to do for tea tho.

New scales come today. They tell you your weight, body fat %, total body water %, muscle %, bone weight, BMI and Kcal.
I didn't realise this when I brought them lol. Found out my body is severely dehydrated, I'm at 45% and it's ment to be at 66 :o, maybe a reason why I'm not losing weight :/. Certainly explains why I'm so tired and get headaches.

Is the Kcal bit how many my body needs a day? (it was 1339)

I've cut out carbs- bread, pasta, rice potatoes and what H how much fruit I eat as was actually eating too much- have full fat food rather than low fat and since March I've,lost 1.5 stones just by watching what I eat, I still have them odd bacon Sarnie or takeaway pizza but it's amazing how less bloated I feel for cutting out the rubbish carbs- just can't seem to stop drinking red wine lol

Tiffany, those scales sound fantastic, can I ask where you got them from please? I'm not too sure what the kcal bit means but it does sound about right x

Michelle I am thinking of cutting down/out on my carbs for a short while to see how it goes, please let me know how it works out for you :)

I spoke with my seamstress yesterday who has said my dress can be taken in another 2 inches, does anybody know what this equates to pounds wise?

    Thanks :) x

Set alarms on my phone for every hour to have a drink. I get so into something I forget to eat and drink.

Been gardening today and drank loads, didn't eat tho.....oops. Is it true that sweating helps lose weight? If so I must have lost something today, gardening in this heat had me sweating loads.

Sure Nicole. I got them out of Stud10, @ce should have them as well.

All the scales we have had do that in our home Lesley. In one area of the bathroom I weight 9st and in the other I weight 13! Old houses and unlevel floors don't mix well with scales lol. I've took to putting mine on the granite fireplace. it's the only place that is level.

Done well today with food. All I've wanted all day is junk food and I've not had any. Even been for a run! (first time for everything)

After putting in a complaint about the works going on outside my home (they put the barrier acroos the door and against the wall!!) they owner of the pub and a person from head off (workers head office) came over with flowers, chocolates and a voucher for a meal out!
I was a good and gave the chocolates to the workers! (I felt bad for complaining, they have been fab, I was just annoyed at the no access to our home lol) and the meal out I had a salad and no desert.
Been for another run and lots and lots of walks, just got to stop being silly about feeling stupid trying to do sit ups and crunches in front on my h2b then I'm set.

I don't know why I'm like it tho, we used to do stuff like this before I fell pregnant and it didn't bother me at all, but then back then I could actually do a sit up lol.

Lost just under 3lb this week. Would of been more but was at my 2yr olds nephew party yesterday and him and his brothers kept handing me cakes and telling me I needed to try the bbq. I couldn't say no to them lol.

You are doing really well Tiffany.

I am the opposite to you guys, if I am at the gym and I think someone is looking at me I make myself do it. I think yeah, I am fat and can still do this, whereas the guys posing who look fit can't! Especially hen we are in the pool doing a class, when they come in with their tiny shorts just using the sauna, we all say they wouldn't be able to keep ujp in our classes and it is true. Try turning your negative to a positive and you will be fine. Don't matter if you are doing 1 sit up today, you will do 2 tomorrow xx If sit ups aren't your thing try something else xx

Maintained this week but it was my birthday so i'm ok. I do always struggle for a few weeks and get quite a good loss after so fingers crossed the loss will be next week x

    Happy birthday Nicole,

Fish is always good or turkey then loads of veg. Put spices in things if you like spice to give it a bit of flavour. I haven't done SW for a while but are strawberries and melon still super speed food? snacking on that is a good idea too - not too much fruit though as that work against you. Get in for a smaller top :)

    thank you :)

I've just checked on strawberries as I didn't think they were speed but they totally are!!! Melon is as well, so happy about the strawbs as I love them and have been avoiding them on SP days!!. My go to is always chicken never get enough of it. I like making the spag bol with courgetti instead of pasta and i think i may make some homemade burgers as well (just obviously no bun unless HEB). Might even go for a chicken stir fry but extra beansprout instead of noodle. Just want to keep myself interested, if your food is bland your more likely to give in aren't you.

I went into m0rri50ns today and ordered salmon, spinach and asparagus which I was really looking forward to but they didn't have any and alternated with steamed cod, peas ans chips :( was gutted as I couldn't eat the chips so ended up with wet cod and peas :') in what world is that similar!

on a brighter side i've just found out one of the snacks i usually have on "treat days" is actually free so I will definitely be getting that more often x

well that post turned out longer than expected

Its been a bit quiet on here, here is my update.

I have gone off track, totally lost focus of everything. My dress is in store so I am going to try it on next week and hope this refocuses my mind. Put on 3 last week and I am gutted but still being lazy! I am away at the weekend so Tuesday is my first day where I will be 100% on it! Probably until the wedding hopefully. We shall see how that goes.
