Not yet we were told by Paphos town hall they have to be less than 1 month old when you get married, but then seen on a website they can be done up to 3 months before your day so not sure what to beleive. We said we are doing our mid april to be on the safe side. What quote have you had for your affidavits? We have been told £35 each. Not sure if thats good or bad.

    yes that does sound awful!!

Ive been told no more than 3 months before the wedding, so i wana get it over & done with now.

The solicitors quoted me a few weeks ago £5 per page for the affidavits but even £35 doesnt sound too bad, i wouldnt mind paying that, but maybe shop around for more quotes??.. Just need to find out about how much I will have to pay for 'their time'

We were told the £35 would be all we would need to pay when we asked about time. So hoping it stays at that. We are thinking of looking for a few quotes, its on our long to do list for this week. (-:

well....not very personal, is it??? lol

i was told that the ceremony only lasts about 8 minutes, is that what you've been told??

also, i'm in a bit of a flap when it comes to the actual wedding part. who puts on the music?? who changes the song?? do we need to bring a cd??

ARGHHH!!! i'm so worried this is going to be the most unorganised wedding in the history of weddings!!!!

    HI Kisywisy
It has took many emails to Paphos town hall to get info. My uncle warned me they do things at a much slower pace but at times its been almost in reverse.

Weve been told 10 - 15 minutes with music. 3 songs maximum, Still not sure on readings. They have a clerk who will play your mp3 cd at the appropriate points. When visiting to get your licence you will need to leave a copy of the cd with them and just let them know the 3 songs you have chosen. I presume this is so they can check they are not religous. I would keep a copy of the cd though If I were you and give it to your groom on the day just in case the first one gets misplaced.
    Hope that helps. xx

Our wine is meant to be 8 euros a litre but as its a vineyard we are getting so much free. There are lots of good deals if you look around. xx

    Sorry to everyone!!!!
I am really stressed.com at the moment, finding out that when you pay thomas cook the £799 that is only for 24 photos and the details of the wedding planner....
Then found out the dome ebach charge you extra to have your reception there even if your guests are staying there any way!!
So i have contacted a fe hotel direct, awaiting replyies.

Do you think i am better just booking a holiday and the doing all my wedding plans seperately? As i was trying to keep the cost lower.

Advise and help pretty please :) xx

I would book your holiday and then book your wedding seperately it will make things cheaper that way as no middle man charging extra for their services.

If you type in where you plan on getting married loads of wedding planners etc will come up for you to look at, you can book your wedding direct with the hotel if you want and then use a wedding planner just to sort out the paperwork side of things.

If you book with a travel agents, you get your own wedding coordinator! I wouldn't say it's much simpler to book separately because if you book a package with the travel agents this includes flowers, cake, hair etc so you wouldn't need source all this yourself!

It just depends what suites you best hun x
