I'm a mummy to 2 beautiful children. also both me and H2B work for Sainsburys in the smaler local stores. We are both Team leaders. I only do it part time 3 nights a week .

I'm a Senior Legislation Officer, its difficult to explain my job but basically everything you see on a crisp packet is written by me :) H2B is a tech advisor for comet.. x

i work at tesco and hate it with a passion lol and my h2b works as a careworker and he loves his job, but i hate mine, i have a ND in Graphic Design but its a hard profession to get into and the one chance i had to start at the bottom i couldnt take cause i was on 36 hrs a week at £6.50 an hr at the time and if i took it i would have been on 21hrs a week and on min wage and you wasnt allowed another job cause alot of your spare time would still be work involved... i had bills to pay :( so didn't make that leap but wish i had done!! :( xx

Jakesmummy, if you don't mind me asking, what is it about being an embalmer that appeals to you? Just sounds like a job I could never see myself being comfortable with, what is it that makes you want to do it? :) x

my new job is a european operations co-ordinator in supply chain for a a company called maxell. basically i make sure stock gets into our warehouse from our supplier and make sure our stock is correct and matches the warehouse

Im a wedding planner and my partner is a delivery driver.

I own my own online shop on etsy, I make and sell hair accessories & fun jewellery with a rock edge :)

H2B is a jeweller

I'm in a wedding/function band but we do a fair bit of rockabilly, blues, jazz and soul music too (which is my real passion :-))

I also work as a receptionist part time for the extra pennies. Our band has had its ups and downs with members messing us about but it looks like we are finally sorted now. Should be gigging enough next year to give up the receptionist job :-)

H2B is a guitarist but his full time job is in jewellary. He should join my band but he wont. We have started recording tunes together though. Id love us to be a bluesy/rockabilly/jazzy duo! We are working on it.....

I'm a trainee orthopaedic surgeon, H2B is a landscape architect and has started an eco-friendly design and build business- getting money together with my debt and his uncertain income has been tricky but we're nearly there! x

Well, I first posted on this thread back in Feb last year. Since then, thre have been lots of changes. I've had 3 different jobs since then due to redundancy/short term contract and now I'm temping as an Infirmary Administration Manager for the Royal Chelsea Hospital - working with the famous Chelsea Pensioners. I now have to nail the application and interview process to get the job on a perm basis.
Hubby has also got a new new job, starting next week and he'll be working at Expedia as their Advertising Manager.

I'm a qualified Nursery Nurse (anyone want a wedding creche? lol) by trade but due to cost of childcare (and having twins) I'm currently a full time mummy and my h2b is a HGV Driver

as well as that i am studying Law at uni and doing an online wedding planning course :D

Iam a stay at home mum of 2 boys.........hopefully in the next year or so I will study to become a nurse.....be a nurse for a couple of years then study to become a midwife.....

Im a full time student, finishing my degree in special needs and inclsuion next week and due to start my teaching training on the PGCE in September. Unsure on if I want to work in mainstream primary education or work with children with Autism in a special needs school as this is what I specialise in. I love doing both!

hi ya not been on for a while due to changing my job. just come out of retail which i was in for 15 years and now HATE!!!! but now have an intresting job in a cctv control room as an operative :) i'm now just settling into my new part time role and finally getting time to plan my wedding again :) LOVING LIFE AT THE MOMENT!!!
oh and i'm a mum to a 5 year old and a 2 year old so life is all go go go

Wow what an interesting selection of occupations on here :) I have 2; by day I process orders for an IT firm and by night I have my own music teaching business (mainly violin although couple of piano students as well). H2B is in IT Sales x
