The couple that is lending us the car has asked if we'd like our reception at their house. It's a stately home called Bunny Hall in Nottingham. originally we are having our reception in a big marquee at our other friends big stately home. If we were to change our minds we would have to provide transport for the guests which would cost us more and we would feel bad for our other friend. It is lovely though :-/ This is their house

Emma- Personally I think it's too far and I don't want to be the person to tell our other friend we don't want the marquee now. As nice as it is I don't think we will. It's got a swimming pool so it would just end up people being silly and getting in it after too many drinks.
Flossie- I know what you mean. I'd love a house like that but not in a million years will I ever have one lol x

Yeah I understand what you mean, it was nice of them to offer but you already have somewhere you are happy with and yes might not be a good idea to have a pool where people are drinking lol!

That was quick! OH got 2 scoops for ours, we weren't too sure how many to get as we don't know how many people will be at the table at once.
The thing I am going to find difficult is finding out how many sweets fit in each jar so I know how many packs of each to get lol, the jars we have ordered aren't too big but there's 17 of them lol, so hoping 1 pack/tub of sweets fits 1 jar! x

Just thought I'd do a little update. So this week I have picked my tiara up, booked and paid deposit at the florist, booked hairdresser, booked MUA and paid deposit and bought the last bits for the centre pieces.
I'm currently working on a table plan so I've got an idea of how many chair covers etc I need a quote for.
The things left to do are -dress alterations -wedding rings -bridal lingerie/jewellery -sort hotel for wedding night -chair covers -groomsmen suits -flower girl dress/shoes -sort food and drink etc for reception in marquee -buy thank you gifts for all -pay off suppliers -pay church -book hen/stag do -make favours -buy sweets for favours I think that's all. Is there anything else you can think of? X

Going to try and do a mock table plan this week so have an idea of numbers for chair covers etc. the weeks just seem to be flying by
