I had my wedding hair & make up trial & im not really sure what to think from it,
My hair was done but it wasnt neat and was Very messy (If that makes sence) the bun onthe back of my head wasnt inthe middle! I thought a hair trial was ment to be perfect? Or am i being fussy or wrong. My make up lasted about 2 hours in total! She is one of my friends who is a qualified hair and make up artist.
She charged me £37 for both took 2 hours in total!
My bridesmaid was really pleased hers was perfect.
Am i being fussy? x

I would want to be pretty happy that my hair would be perfect on the day, maybe not as secure as on the day but almost there If i were you i would be worried about how it will look on the day - have you seen any of her work at actual weddings? Could you talk to her about your concerns?
There are so many people out there who will tell you
what you can't do.
What you have to do is turn around and say, "watch me"!!

I'm worry! Can i trust her to make it perfect on the day, She had a book of face page but couldnt remember the email address and lost her camera. My h2b wasnt too happy when he come home to see it! Im going to message her but not really sure how to start x

A hair and make up trial is supposed to be a total picture of what you will look like on the day, so you have every right to be fussy as you say if its not exactly as you expect it to be, you are after all paying her for this hun.
My daytime make up lasts me all day and i dont plaster it on either, so i would hope wedding day make up would last youlonger than 2 hours! xx

Thats what i thought but wasnt sure if i was right or not! I hate complaining about stuff! But this is the biggest day of my life so its got to be right x
I hate complaining too but i think you need to say something as you dont want to be worrying about it

I would text her and say that although you liked the hair style you want it more sleek for the day instead of casual ( better than putting it was messy! ) that way she won't be offended. for the makeup I would invest in a good primer that can go under the foundation and ask her to apply that first, it will set your make up without it sliding off after 2 hours! It might be worth taking 'touch up' make up with you on the day, as after all the hugging and kissing of guests it will come off a little anyway. I went and reapplied my powder, blusher and lippy before the vening reception so I felt fresh. If you are paying for a service you should be able to say what you want, and if she is worth her weight, she should try her up most to give you a look you're happy with, friend or not! xx

If it was my friend i would esp if im paying her id ask for another trial so u can build the confidence up, just use the excuse as this will be great practice for her portfilo esp if u wants the business of weddings cos she'll get a lot worse then u my sweet some ppl r proper bridezillas so ur be "helping" her out but also getting confidence ur gonna look grand for ur wedding. C with my friends we say what we think if we like or not n i know not everyone is like that but for u not to stress i wud text n ask her to redo. Xxx
