Haha yes it's the day after our wedding so we are doing betting slips for it as our adult favours so worked out quite well. My parents got married on the 5th April as well otherwise we might have had our wedding same day as you but as it's their 40th we didn't want to totally steal their thunder

Thanks for the ideas Hun! Had a bit of a perk this morning as I popped into local party shop and they are closing down so got loads of stickers, colouring crayons, bracelets and tons more for a tenner! Right time right place! X

How are you gunna do it? Just blank slips or a pound on a horse or something? It's a brilliant idea.

So this week me and a bridesmaid had our hair done at my salon and she did a little play around with our hair...very exciting. Also now booked in for my first dress fitting on 15th feb and almost completed the table plan frame and keys. This week we are hoping to order the men's thank you gifts and finish the kids favour bags. Also have my mini hens do this weekend pottery painting with my BMs and families and on Saturday we are completing the mini BMs outfit so hopefully a lot will get ticked off of the list.

Nearly at the 2 month mark and it is flying by :)

So this weekend the future in laws came down for our mini stag and hen celebrations. Saturday we sorted the little BMs clothing and even though she will be wearing a cardigan that I don't like I gave in because I couldn't be bothered to argue about it.

Anyway, I have now decided to give up on having a great relationship with my fsil as she may it very clear she is not fussed which is a shame.

Sunday we were going pottery painting and literally some Christmas I have been asked by them if he little BM was coming to which I said no as I wanted it to be adults only. I wanted my mil in SIL to interact with my family and best friends and to get to know me better by knowing them and to not have to look after the little one. Anyway, we got to the place on Sunday and I basically then got told by mil that SIL was getting her husband to bring little one as she would love it. At this point she was already on the phone arranging her drop off. She told me she would sit downstairs with her. Nice I thought! Come here for my hen do and you are basically going to go sit somewhere else. My brothers wife so my SIL who has been in my family for 10+ years was disgusted as she was there on the Saturday night when I had said no again. I was fuming. They literally went completely against my wishes and undermined me. I thought at least my mil said something to me, fsil didn't even bother to ask! Then they both left the lunch after like half and hour and fsil said "thanks for inviting P (little one)" absolute cheek of it. My h2b was very disappointed in them too. I can't help but feel like they couldn't care less about me being part of their family! Oh and the other thing, mil said to me when they were leaving something very bizarre
Me: thank you for coming- not long now!
Mil: yes well it's the right thing to do

Can only think she means us getting married, i was like well yeah it is, otherwise I wouldn't have said yes 16 months ago! Like she's only just accepted we are in love.

The day was amazing though and great to spend time with most of my fav people, just a shame they had to act the way they did...

So a lot has happened since I last updated this, we had our marriage prep weekend this weekend which was good.

Also finalised BM dresses and have gained a new BM in the form of a niece being born a month early on valentines day but all is well and she is gorgeous!

I have had laryngitis now for 2 weeks and still suffering so been off of planning and out of action for a bit

Received our first gift and card from my work team which was lovely and it dawned that it really isn't long now!!

Still so much to do so must crack on this week and weekend! Xx

Oooh that's exciting! Although I think it would drive me crazy.. I'm too much of a control freak to let anyone else organise my hen!! Lol. I'm sure it will be fabulous whatever you are up to!! :) x
