Yea I made them myself. The picture does not do the colours justice though!!

They are just 2 different coloured pearlescent cards and I printed straight onto the cream card. I used ribbon, pearl heart buckles and diamonds that I bought off bay of e (for a bargain!!!) which are just glued on. Then there is also a magnet stuck to the back so can be stuck to fridges etc if wanted ( was also a bargain for a 1metre strip of magnet from bay of e!) xx

they look fab! Really professional looking, where did you get all the bits and peices for them (card etc) how many did you make and what was total cost for them hun if you dont mind me asking?

Im trying to make as much as I can myself to keep the budget down :) post on my wall if its easier

Most of it was from bay of e except that card whch I got from a loal craft shop in my town. The card came to about £3 I think, it was 50p per A4 sheet and all the other bits used were from bay of e which in total came to about £5. I will be able to make about 20 (if I ever find time to carry on with it) so thats about 40p each. X

I think they look fab! To be honest, I think the only person who will be aware of them "not matching the theme" will be yourself. Of the weddings I've been to, it never occurred to me to think back to the "save the date" card and notice whether or not the colours matched the rest of the wedding.

Yes making my own... Although eiwith how long these have taken, I think I may have to start straight away on the invites. Planning on making my own name places, table plan & order of service too. Xx
