okay i'm making a total mountain out of a molehill. my wedding dress is ivory. but the table linen from the hotel which is included in the package is white. if we hire ivory linen we're looking at a bill of about £300 + and we're on a really tight budget. the white table linen is FREE cos it's included in the package. i don't want the table linen and my dress to look awful but i'm getting to the point where i'm stressing over linen instead of my hair (not booked or even looked at) or vows (again not even looked at!!)

    what do you think?

    cheers!!

i think u are getting a tad too stressy over it!!! tbh no one is goin to be sitting there thinking " o god her linen dont match the colour of her dress"..white is the standard coloured of linen for anywhere so i wouldnt worry..all eyes wil be on u and ur h2b.nothing else!! relax about it and start focussing on ur hair etc xxx

ha this is so random i have the same problem but the other way round! my dress is going to be while but my venue only has ivory table linen and chair covers. i did stress for a little while but i think it was Jellytot who pointed out, how often do you go to a wedding and go 'oh my god her dress doesn't match the table cloths!' honestly i don't think anyone would even notice xx

How about getting some organza material (off ebay a roll for around 25 metres is about £8) and having a centre line down the middle...

Were doing this... our table covers are white and where having a line of blue down the middle :)

lala we've got some gorgeous purple organza to use as runners and it SHOULD (in theory) match the sashes on the chair covers. and the added advantage of using the hotels linens is that the chair covers will fit their chairs PERFIK!!! lol

I don't think you'd want to match the tablecloth anyway! I mean, it's not something you'd even consider at any other sort of do!

I don't think it'll matter hun...I can't say I've ever noticed the colour of the linen in relation to the colour of the bride's dress at any wedding I've been to before xx
