We are in Cambridgeshire and are looking for a company to supply a marquee for our wedding reception at a local venue but so far we not having much luck. Has anyone had/having a marquee which is from a company which will cover this area too? roughly how much does it cost to hire? any recommendations?

I'm more north in the Midlands (Worcestershire) so can't really help with suppliers in your area, but we looked at a few quotes for marquees for some garden venues we were looking at and found them quite costly. It depends on the size you want and such but we were quoted around £2 - 3000 for a mediumish marquee, with an extra £1-2000 cost for extras like a dance floor, wall and ceiling drapes.

The best thing would be to contact suppliers for your own quotes and to see of they cover your area. I know you said you were looking vat your local pub to pitch it, might be worth asking them if they have their own contacts who they've worked with before. Good luck!

I've found one that will supply marquee and lighting, dance floor tables chairs carpets etc for less that 3000.. I'm shocked I honestly thought I would be looking at the 5000 mark with extras
