thank you everybody! youve all put a big smile on my face :-)
Mrs M wade 2B- once you get the knack for putting it together its then quite easy but to begin with i was having right nightmares with it, and i was trying loads of different ways for the base.
my friends said i should start a brooch bouquet business and get loads made this year and go to a wedding fair next year and see if i get any orders....worth a try i guess. i just didn't know if it was good enough to actually sell them.
    xx

Definitely good enough to sell Irishbride! I was looking at brooch bouquets at one point but was put off because of how expensive they seemed to be xx

thank you Flossie. thats why i decided to make my own, this type of one iv made to buy off a brooch bouquet supplier where i live was £395 so i thought i will make it myself.
after making it myself i know how much it costs to make and the above amount is rediculous! the main part is the labour that goes into making it, it does take a lot of hours (it took me a couple of months and thats because of working full time) so i would rather make them more affordable for brides and not charge over the odds.
    xx

I think people would snap them up if you charged a competitive price! I can appreciate how much time and effort goes into making them, I bet you'd just get quicker and quicker though with more practice. Would be a nice hobby and even better to make money from it xx

very true, looping the wires at first was taking me hours but come the end i would just do them while watching the tv.
Since my friends have suggested it iv really been considering it, because once I'm married the topic of children will come up and with my job at the moment i travel a lot so i would have to cut my work hours down and this is something i can do at home and still earn a living xx
