I'd like to ask my cousin to be my maid of honour, we have been so close growing up! Holidays etc! So it would be lovely to have her as a massive part of my day! I have no idea on how to ask her! I was hoping for some ideas on how I could go about this? She's currently living in New Zealand.. Want it too be a massive surprise & really special!:))

Im having my cousin as my Matron of honor. I gave her a little "will you be my bridesmaid card" maybe you could send her some flowers or something with a card.
Met June 2009 on my Birthday,Met again July 2009 and got
together, May 2010 Moved in,Jan 2011 got pregnant,
August 2011 Got our own place, 2011 Had our Baby Girl,
Dec 2011 Got engaged, July 2015 Getting married! Yay!

I'm kinda doing it backwards lol As we met up within a few days of me getting engaged and I was so excited that I asked her whilst we were out and about :) However when we send save the dates she will be getting something special with it like a will you be my MOH card but one with something like will you hold my dress when I pee kinda thing lol As we both aren't the soppiest of people lol x
Somehow always connected , finally became friends .

what about getting on moon pig and writing her a card or get one made specially from a card designer and fill it with glitter and confetti so when she opens it she has a happy sparkle surprise and ask her in the card would be a nice little memory for her to keep.

I asked 2 of my best friends to be bridesmaids last week by making them a card each with ideas from the ones on Etsy. I wrote a personal message of why I wanted them with memories of a fun time together and then presented them after we'd had dinner at my place. They were both so surprised and happy that there were a few tears. I like the idea of sending flowers too - its always lovely to get flowers in the post, though I don't know if they'll last in the post to NZ X
