I have a quote of £100 for an hour from a magician or £170 for 2 hours, I don't think we need 2 hours... wondering what quotes other people have? As not sure if that's a good quote or not... I had a quote of £270 as well but that seemed silly money

Good quote! We are paying £495 for our magician and his standard time frame is 4 hours (although he blocks out the whole day for you rather than booking a specific time at the time of booking). So that works out at £123 per hour.

He should have been £595 but we got £100 off for booking on the day at the national wedding show x

the ones I have rang have been between £85 to £100 for 1 hour or 2 hours for £150 - £180 , so pretty close to yours donnah :) Id say a hour is enough if going round tables , will prob do 5 mins at each table or something.. :)

We wouldn't have him for going around the tables, but for after the wedding breakfast... our venue has a drawing room where people will go and sit when they're turning the ballroom around from the wedding breakfast to the evening do, so I would have him for that time. I like the idea of a magician entertaining the guests in the drawing room.

Would only book him for an hour I think anyway, don't want an overlap with him and the band really...

I'm a big fan of magicians so I would say £100 per hour is definitely worth it. Your guests will love it x
