    Hi all,

It's now just over 4 months until my wedding, i am starting to have some real anxiety. I'm meant to be sending out the invites next week but not even finished making them yet, i suddenly am not in a rush to do it? I am also considering cancelling my dress fitting in a couple of weeks as have put on half a stone and feel horrible, also now got a stomach ulcer (making me feel even more yuck).

I wonder if it is all just feeling very real now and getting a bit anxious. We've also had 3 close friend's and family married couples announce that they have split up. My dad is also on his 4th marriage. I'm also anxious that this is my partners second marriage so i'm worried that if his first marriage didn't last why would ours be different?

    Anyone else felt like this?

How do you feel about your partner? Do you trust that he wouldn't leave you and that you want to be with him forever?

I think this is probably just normal jitters, with the added upset of lots of people around you splitting up. Don't worry about other people though, think about yourself and how you feel about your fiancé.

I think you need someone to help motivate you, not only do you seem down about the weight gain, but you're also poorly.

I'm sure if you get on with the invites you'll get your mojo back

That's also true about being poorly and down about the weight gain, that's not going to help how you are feeling. Concentrate on getting yourself better. You can sort the invites once you are feeling 100% and same with the weight loss, if you don't feel confident having your fitting yet then postpone it, you still have time to put those things off a little. Also maybe it would be worth having some just you time and pampering yourself, or having some time doing something nice with your fiancé.

It sounds like a case of the wedding jitters.

One way to combat any sort of anxiety is taking things one step at a time. Dedicate this weekend to invite making/finishing and ppssi my even sending. Focus yourself on one task a time. Even though you don't know it youl ha e a million things going round your mind, invites, dresses, flowers etc etc. If you focus yourself on one task and male yourself excited you'll find focussing on the positives will finally rekindle that excitement.
    Relax a little.
