31st july 2015 3.30pm we have church booked venue dress sorted suits picked but yet to be paid will be dome by xmas decorations - tick cake -im gettin taster cupcakes dropped off today then put my deposit next week when top table choose their special flavours :-) my food is sorted but will be getting added onto later i think just to be sure theres definatly enuff rings r picked bt not getting till april ish im undrcided on mine i saw one i loved but then walked past chappel jewellers and its confused me!!
flowers will be orderd feb.. bridesmaid dress feb flowers girls dresses i have from sale got bigger than we will need so they can be took in! (sils ex mil is a seamstress lol) its just little things to get closer to the time!

I'm getting married on the 10th July and so far I have organisised: ~ Church ~ My lovely little country house venue who really have gone above and beyond with the little extras they have offered :) ~ Photographer who turned about to be OH's primary school teacher so got a good discount :) ~ Evening DJ who comes with photo booth, light up dance floor and a karaoke competition called the gaz factor lol ~ Some gorgeous vintage cars :) ~ My dress, veil and accessories ~ Bridesmaids dresses, to be made by my dressmaker cousin :) ~ Flowers for church ~ All my stationary and silk and button/brooch bouquets and buttonholes all by the same talented woman :) ~ Hair and Make up ~ Wedding rings bought in bank holiday sale :) ~ Candy Cart that I just had to get lol ~ Suits with cute bow tie :) ~ Teabag wedding favours that say love is brewing :P with a heart shaped chocolate :) That pretty much just leaves a cake I think? And paying everyone off lol

Me to, i got my montly to do list , and only I had my tasting and found the girls dresses the panic will relent a bit I hope. I'm currently correlating all the name addresses to give to my mums caligrifer friend who is going to write out our invites for us.

went really well found 2 they liked , 2 of 3 prefered dress one, and me my mum and the other other bm prefered dress 2, although all were happy with either. although they were obviously over budget. so have found a dress similar to dress one at less than a 1/4 the price

Im still waiting for the phone call to say my dress is in i have a 1st makeup trial on friday (got choice of 2 and one doesnt live here both r my mams friends bt shes up this week so wants to out trial in friday) suits room decos and food left to pay (food once numbers r in)

Hi Amanda, I have just seen your message (from last year!) about us having our weddings on the same day! How is your planning coming along?
We have pretty much sorted everything now. We have booked: - The church (although as my fiance is from outside the EU we need to get a letter over the next couple of weeks to take to a registry office to give 28 days notice, and be issued with a wedding licence to take back to the vicar. I'll be contacting the vicar tomorrow to arrange to get the letter done!) - The reception venue (includes the catering and most of the decorations) - The invitations (sent & had most of the RSVPs back) - DJ & entertainment for the kids - The cake - Vintage cars for us and the bridesmaids - The photographer - The flowers for the bridal party, the button holes and the centrepiece for the top table - The dress & veil - Bridesmaid dresses - Make up - Comfy shoes for the reception - Started on buying gifts for the wedding party
That leaves (unless I am missing something!): - Wedding shoes - Rings - Arranging the centre pieces we want & ordering those - Hair - H2B's suit (which apparently is "all under control"!!) - Getting our cake toppers made! - Finish buying the wedding party gifts - I also want to buy some single slice cake boxes, guest book and all those added extras.
We are also having an Indian ceremony the following weekend, but H2B's mother is sorting most of that out, I just need to pick out my clothing.

my planning is all going to plan and like you I only have little things to sort out. All our main things are booked and paid up. I doneed to call the registrar to finalise our plans for them coming out to our venue. but we are pretty much on top of things

I called in to pay a bit more on suits yday and rhey said oh your dress should be in with the nxt delivery this week or next
Im sooo hopin to get a phone call very soon to say its in! It was the last 1 of that design to ever be ordered from my shop so its had me a bit on edge when she said id be in to try it in march and altho only a day gone it has now past march lol :-D x

I tried calling the register office today to book in for our pre wedding meeting but after trying to get through to them for several hours I ended up giving it up as a bad job. I was told to make an appointment for at least 8 weeks before our wedding date. I spoke to a different department within the register office and was told I would be lucky to get hold of someone before the end of the week as they were all busy with appointments all week. Think they should still have someone on the front desk to take messages ect. its so annoying

Hey girls not been on for a while my very is down, hopfuly be fixed tomorrow ( at mother's at the moment)
Had my trials Thursday we going not being able to talk to you all. I was really disappointed and not sure what to do. It looked nice when done but the curls were all falling out after only 2 hours( would not even get me to the ceremony) Ended up redoing it myself

sorry to hear your expectations were not met, did you mention this to the hair stylist? maybe she/he could try something else. If not and you have lost faith in them I would see another stylist.

Had a 1st makeup trial froday gone went vry well mams friend is training at london school of makeup. Just a few tweaks and will b how i want it may bank hol shes up again ao another trial then :-)

I really need to get my act together now with the wedding plans, I haven't heard anything about my dress, I haven't booked my hair trial, i need to get my bridesmaid dresses altered, I keep nagging my OH about doing the table name cards. I o out on practice placement for 8 weeks on 20th April so will have no time to do anything then arrgh im starting to panic

now ontop of my hair worries, my mum has a call from the dress maker, her mother has been taken ill, and shes having to go home to ?romania? so don't know if she will be able to do the dresses.
im looking into having another hair dresser, but its all so overwhelming. been thinking about doing it myself. getting one of thos Baby1iss curl machines, and having a friend whos good at braiding do the hair braid bit, then curing the rest. also took 2 and a bit hours to do 3 of us sloopily, and only has 3 hours to do 6 of us, and thats cutting it fine.

oh no that is a big dilemma in regards to the dress maker. I actually had the call today to say my dress had arrived at the bridal shop, I just need to find a spare few hours to go try it. Im really excited has its been so long since I saw it.
With the hair dresser dilemma I would seek another hairdresser, have a trial with them and see how you feel then if your still not happy I would consider doing my own. I have one of them curlers and they are fantastic.

is the hairdresser that did your trial your usual hairdresser? If not could you not just use your usual? I am planning on going into the hair salon for mine doing and im booking my bridesmaids in with me too, the lady doing ours is my hairdresser that I go to religiously. If not you could google search local hairdressers and see if they have any reviews ect or simply ask around your circle of friends
