I am 24 and my fiancée is 10 years older and he also has aspbergers. Now me and him are completly head over heels in love with each other but we have a slight problem we can't live fully together .we have been engaged for three years and we live close to each other like literally that is a room between us and I get upset that I might not get married .

I just want to know is anyone struggling with a similar situation

The only thing that would mean you couldn't get married is if the person doing the wedding feels that one or other of you doesn't have enough understanding of what marriage is to be able to commit to it. My experience of Asperger's is that people with it are extremely intelligent, and although they relate to the world around them differently they would still understand the significance of marriage. My H2B has slight Asperger's himself, not enough to be really obvious but enough that he is aware of it. He hasn't been formally diagnosed but has done various online tests. There is no question that he can live with me, in the same way that he has owned his own home for the last ten years since graduating from university, and there has been no question that he would live independently.

Are you worried about living together, or have you been told that you can't? Are you currently living in the same building? Asperger's does not need to stop you doing what you want to do.

30th August 2014 was the best birthday ever.
It was the day that I became Mrs. Dixon.

Could you not both try and find a flat together? I know from personal experience (my ex has severe aspergers) living with a house full of strangers who change things etc would be a night mere.

If the whole ideas of all the people , stress etc for the wedding is to much, maybe you can just have a small ceremony with v.immediate family and friends rather than the whole shebang.
