    Yes ask away!

In answer to your first questions -

Its a policy to protect you from things like cancellation from a supplier etc, many places offer wedding insurance mine is from Dr3@ms@v3r and it was about £40 xx

Oh I never saw the category haha, wondered what you were asking about!!

I would say get it purely because you never know if you might need it. Anything could happen - imagine your venue burnt down a few weeks before your wedding for example. For a one off cost I think it's a no brainer to get it just to be on the safe side. The cost will depend on which level of insurance you take out - i.e. how expensive your wedding is. It will cover almost everything from your venue deposit, rings, outfits, wedding gifts, suppliers....

I got mine from D3bs, think I paid £36 and got a £10 gift card as well plus £10 cash back through t0pc@shb@ck.

Most policies will cover any deposits paid up to 2 years before your wedding date so I would hold off before getting it and try and hold off on making too many payments for now xx

You can't get it until it's two year prior to the date of your wedding so you may as well hold of looking for a little while or have a quick look so you know what to expect

Mrs B - D3b3nh@ms will also cover deposits paid before 2 years but you can only take out the policy at the 2 year stage

I think for the cost it is well worth it

I was putting off paying my deposits until I checked. I'm not sure if any others do so you may want to have a call around and ask.

My oh just wants me to have exactly what I want and therefore just wants to leave me to it but it's not just my day and I want him to have what he wants too which is a bit frustrating!

So far he's been to all the venues and made a choice with them. The church I loved is a country church near my step grandmas house where my step dad used to live and he didn't comment at all on that so whether that's because he never knew about it and loves it too I don't know or whether it's just because that's where I said would be amazing from day one.

Then bridesmaid dresses we've had three appointments and he didn't come to any because he thought my dress would be about and I said no it won't but he still didn't come but asked to see photos of them all .. Then we all made a decision and showed him the one we liked and he was like yeah that's nice but then when we went to order them on Saturday all hell broke loose. We asked if there was any new ones just in case and the woman started picking out 5 or 6 and my gut feeling was oh god.

Oh had said he wanted cadburys purple dresses so we knew that.

But then we all preferred another dress to the original one so I tried ringing him and he didn't answer so I text him saying we need to speak and sent him photos of the new dress and the old dress and said we all like another which do you prefer and he still chose the first one but we all found the second more flattering so I hung up on him frustrated that he wasn't listening properly.

Anyway we also preferred the colour of the new dress to the purple too so I wantedto see how set on the colour scheme he was so i rang him back and asked him to pop to the store.

He then decided both dresses were nice he didn't mind which because all my girls said they were comfortable in both but then he was like well I said purple so I said I know you did and we can still get that one in purple in we choose the new one so we showed him the swatch and he was like no that's too purple .. So the lady showed him a purple dress in that colour and he stood there and was like NO. He hated it!! So now we've changed our dress and colour scheme so it's a good job I did force him to come and help and look!

I've brought everything for my centrepieces myself as I'm making them all myself and I've made my own invites etc etc so I'm mainly after cover for my venue menswear THEE dress and stuff like that I'm gonna just have too look into it and see what fits us best

I think obsessed is more the word lol! I want all the "little" things done and packed away so all we have too focus on are the big things basically as we need too get a house also! Haven't found an insurance that'll take on a wedding more than 2 years in advance though

I'm sure I'll feel like that a few months down the line .. I still have invites and table decs to sort which I've put off because I'm terrible at that and I think I'll just keep putting it off until I get to the point where it's crisis point but fmil is meant to be creative so I'll put her in charge of all that lol

Just tell them to get lost .. It's yours and your other halves day after all! My mum was a nightmare we were going to have a long engagement but she had me trying wedding dresses on literally the Saturday after our engagement and the next thing I know our venue was booked .. God knows how that happened!
