Phewf what a two weeks!!!

So I'll start Friday before the big day

Friday: got my a hair put in pin curls ready and after that I went to collect our 2 thankyou mum bouquets, 2 grave posies for grandparents and two single red roses. Well I FREAKED OUT! The grave posies were just awful, really gaudy and garish. We had asked for cream and orange roses with greenery. She had done orange gerberas (fine) teamed with yellow, gold and brown chrysanthemums and bright white gypsy grass! Horrific. The lady who was in asked if I was ok and I said "no, I hate the flowers" she was like "to be honest Hun, neither do I" (she wasn't the one that did them) she said hat did u want and I told her and she said ok when do u need them? I was like, now! My wedding is tomorrow! So she literally re did them and my mums bouquet. My nan also was to receive a bouquet on our wedding day (she's in a home with Alzheimer's and couldn't come) they delivered them on the Friday! So I hadn't seen them so didn't know if they were sh!t too :( I spent about an hour there whilst she re did everything and I left happier but not satisfied. Eventually got to our venue and the decorating took 6 hours! The chair covers near killed me... So left there around
7 and went to our flat with the girls for girlie night and hubs went to my cousins house.

Saturday THE DAY!!!
Was up at 6am and showered and dressed by 7, could only stomach half a croissant though! Hair dressers came at 8 and got going and then the mua turned to do mine and mums faces lol loved it! So the car turned up at 11.15 and he was amazed we were all ready on time and were so calm! Had some pics taken outside too. The two single roses were picked up to take to church for the rose ceremony and FELL APART! Petals were everywhere so my MoH got onto the flower store and said you need to bring two fresh red roses here, now! We're leaving for church in 10 mins, she goes well I have ivory and a pink one? MoH said no they have to be red as part of the wedding, the "assistant" hung up on her and turned up at ours with two pink roses! My neighbour ended up going to waitrose to get a bunch of the red ones!!! Thank god for her! Apart from that the service was amazing and I didn't cry and was so excited! Photos went amazing and everyone looked stunning!
From there we (me and Hub) went to a hall with beautiful grounds for pictures... Then onto the venue!!!
We were announced in and everyone cheered their heads off! Food was divine! We had cream of lettuce soup, chicken in Parma ham with potatoes and veg followed by strawberries and profiteroles... Speeches were fab and I did cry at them! Cut the cake with a sword and did the 'cup of friendship' which was basically a welcome to my hubs from my family which was were he had to down a charger bowl of port (military fave tipple!) and when he finished put it on his head, I did one too! We timed everything perfect.
Some of you will know that I had trouble with hubs sister, she was one of my bms and I knew she would kick off at some point... She did not disappoint!!! After the meal she said to me 'I'm going home for a shower and I'm getting changed" I said have a shower if u want but you better come back in that dress! The excuse was "I can't breathe and I'm too hot!" Erm well love try wearing what I am!!!! She was like I've done everything you asked, I'm getting changed... I said "do what the f*** you want, you always do, selfish bitch!" Ad I stormed off and didn't let it ruin my night or speak to her (still haven't spoken!) hubs was heard saying to her "you better straighten your face or your out, this day is not about you, she's put a lot of effort into this day and I will not let you ruin it, were all uncomfortable, deal with it" her other brother said the same to her as did my sister (MoH)
The hotel we stayed in after was incredible biggest bed ever and we had our breakfast in the London carriage works the next day! Divine!

Sunday
Cleaned and tidied venue, near killed me... Crashed at 7pm and opened our cards and gifts then slept! Lol

Monday
Went on honeymoon to Scotland for fours days which wS beautiful. Unfortunately I was I'll for two days with serious stomach upset and then I came on! Typical lol

Now... I LOVE being married, I even got £8 back from being married woman on the car insurance! Lol xxx
