Wedding Forum - Idea for Guest book...

Im not sure if this has been suggested before but I have an idea for a guest book, and I was wondering whether others thought it was a good idea.

The reason I have decided to do this is two fold. Firstly, I know of weddings where the guest book has been overlooked or just not signed by many people. Secondly, I am a stickler for neatness, and of the wedding guest books I have signed everything has been rather haphazard.

I plan on leaving postcard sized cards on everybodies place setting with a note on the back asking people to write there note or draw a picture on that and to take a photo of themselves using the disposable cameras provided. Then I will get a photo album and place the postcard message next to the persons photo of themselves at our wedding. Making it all neat and tidy and also allowing children to draw a lil picture and giving everyone an opportunity.

Do you all think this is a good idea and do you think it would work?

Thats a really clever idea - I was thinking of having a guest tree!!! - simulalar idea to a wish tree really!!

That s fab idea, brilliant way of putting a face to the message should our own memories fade in far flung future lol. I love itxx
