I am getting an M & S wedding cake, the one you can get in individual tiers. I have purchased a cake stand off the bay of e, it actually sits in between the layers of the cake and I suddenly thought dowel rods. I dont want the cake stand sinking in to the cake because its sponge. Has anyone else forgot these or is it just me lol. This is my cake stand and cake topper in the pictures, if your wondering what the silver thing is, its just a tin of hair wax. I just needed something to seperate the two layers and had to put a dark cushion behind it because its see through so that it would show up a little better on the photo.
