Hi! I am new here but I am really enjoying it so far, I am getting married in Scotland in February but my finace and I live Switzerland so it has been hard planning our wedding from so far away. I have been looking for interesting and entertaining ways to allow people to wish us well on our day and I though about a memory tree, basically a tre where people can tie a little piece of paper in the shap of a leaf onto the branches...or a bix box all decorated and lovely where guests can post a little message through. I kinda want people to feel like they have something to do when the photos are being taken as that can feel quite long for those not involved....Does anyone have any inspiration??

The tree is an amazing idea, as long as you can get it back to switzerland no problem! It is definitely a more original idea than a guest book.

We are having a wish tree, but intead of writing on leaf shaped paper, we are having little butterflies as the cards and having theguest's hang them on a real tree that is just by the terrace in the garden where we are getting married!!! I think its a really good idea!!! we are also planning on having a photo booth with lots of crazy props and things they can add to the photos!!!
I love Wish trees... we are getting married in December so we are doing the same but the paper will be shaped like snowflakes
