Hello girls, I'm having a right fit about my bridesmaid dresses .. OMG it seems impossible to find anything I like. The problem is my dress is blush pink and I was gonna have the 2 BM's in ivory with pink accessories, but when my 18 year old daughter tried an ivory dress on SHE looked like the bride and me in my pink looked like the BM!! GRRR .... Then I got her a dusky pink cocktail type dress from BHS now I hate the colour as I don't think it will go with my dress, and I still don't know what to put the 10 year old in??? HEEEELLLP MEEEEE!! pleassse, I've spent hours on here looking for dresses and I don't like any of them at all. I'm worried I will never like anything.

How about something completly different to yours like Navy?, you could have the older bridemaid in navy and the 10 yr old in ivory with a navy sash :-) xx

light green- a more floral theme. Don't let the dresses outshine yours, maybe add an accessory to theirs like a bright sash or bolero and your bouquet of flowers is much much bigger! x

How about a champagne colour or a light gold, I think this may look nice. Also any pastel colours will go with a blush pink. Like the idea of fushia pink but what's gonna catch the eye first the blush or the fushia? Know what I'm getting at. To be honest I like ur original idea, the ivory. Can't u get the bridesmaids a quite simple dress in ivory and so everyone is clear who's the bride? U will also stand out by having fancier jewellery, a bigger bouquet, perhaps a stunning tiara etc. Don't get to disheartened just yet! Perhaps when u look for bridesmaids dresses in the bridal shops ask to see their colour charts first in the different fabrics and when u like a colour swatch that u think will go then ask them which dresses have u got that are available to order in this colour?
I think ur 10 yr old would look lovely in a bridesmaids dress with blush pink on top and an ivory bottom to compliment u as she's the youngest. Just ideas, hope they helpxx

Hope you find something soon hun...choosing bm dresses was the biggest pain for me!!!!! Have a look at my photos...my bm dress is on there (in pink and cream) although Im having gun metal grey with purple sashes! You could have this option too....grey is often not a popular choice for weddings but my dresses are lovely and the colour is amazing!!!xxx
