I'm hoping to make our favours but not sure how soon ahead I can do it. We want to make chocolate lollies so will melt chocolate and put it in mould to make the lollies. I don't want to leave it too close as worry if I mess it up will need to order some. But don't want to make them too early Incase they go funny. What should I do? Wedding is July x

Was going to say the same as Glitterfairy. Have a practice first then make them nearer the time. I'm sure you'll have plenty of taste testers!

Maybe a week before? You could do it as a girly get together with BMs MOB MIL?

Think a practise run a great idea, going to but all the bits so have them and then just try it out see how hey turn out. I want them to taste like proper chocolate not cheap chocolate so would I be best buying the expensive choc or just go with regular one?
The fancy @ldi chocolate is good and the same price usually as ownbrand from other supermarkets. Also I did some stuff with a mint @3ro once - omg to die for.

I might have to buy a few different ones and just experiment :) won't be too good for the waist line but it's for a good cause haha x

We got married in the summer, but didn't have edible favours. There's melting to consider, and do you have adequate cool storage. I have also no idea how long it keeps for before it spoils, might be worth Googling, if not sure.

The hotel will keep them in the kitchen and sort them out so just trying to decide how long they will keep for :/ will try searching it and see what it comes up with x
