We paid a £35 booking fee. That's all we need to pay until we give notice, where we will need to pay a further £35 per person. Then full balance due 4 weeks before the wedding date I think x

I haven't paid any kind of booking fee.

We paid £200 deposit to book our date at our venue - £408 total
    £35 each to give notice
We have the remaining £208 for the actual registrar and service and our marriage certificates are £4 each and we're getting two.

our venue is charging £300 for us to have the service at our venue which is just added into our final bill.
so to just book the person to show up its about £105? so £35 notice then £35 each.

We have to pay £400 to hire the ceremony room but the £400 for the resigtrar is separate. If you're not sure check with your local registry office as they vary throughout the country.
