If off the rack you could do a few months before the big day. I'd try on though at least 9 months before to see what you like just in case you don't like anything from that shop and need to order from a made to order boutique.

Hi hollie, I got my dress from their Bolton store 3 weeks ago and I get married in July.
You can get your dress anytime and get it altered if needs be.
When you go you are only allowed 4dresses at a time so I would recommend that if you want a particular style to ask someone to help you to find it before you go try anything on.

I bought my dress off the rack 12 months ago and getting married Oct 17. I'm not looking to loose any weight so I wasn't too worried about it.
I would leave it until 12-9 months before the wedding so gives you the time to loose weight but also time to look elsewhere if you don't see anything you like.

I got mine in Feb last year and get married in May, it was 2 sizes too big when I bought it and I knew I wanted to generally stay the same weight I am now and just tone up a bit. If you are losing weight though I would say weight maybe 9 months before so you have time to lose the weight, you probably won't need to get any fittings done until about 4 months before so even if you want to lose more weight when you have the dress you have time to get it altered.
Got together on 14th March 2010
Got engaged on 25th December 2013
Became Mrs P on 14th May 2016 - best day ever!
I get married in October and got my dress from their Milton Keynes store last weekend. I had tried it on about six weeks ago and then went back to buy it the next day and it wasn't there. As it's just what stock they have in at the time, I think if you love it you should buy it. Just by chance when I popped in last weekend, they had it in my size. The sales assistant was shocked that I found it again. It's a perfect fit and needs no alterations, so have it at home already and can try on whenever I like
