Wedding Forum - How did you meet your H2B?...

I met my H2B when We were both 16 on a local (hanging out as we called it then) bridge by where I lived, I was in my way to my work experience placement and I used to take a shortcut over the bridge as its not open to vehicle traffic but I had a scooter (moped) so I just used to cheat lol!, he was sitting there waiting for his friend to meet him (which I didn't know at this point) I stopped as I felt sorry for him sitting there on his own asked him if he was lost hehe! He told me no and said he was waiting for a friend! He asked my name and we talked for a while, then I realised the time and had to go....
I didn't see him again for a few weeks and he turned up on his own scooter!! With his friend and told me that he loved me! I walked away laughing as I thought he was messing about! Then the next day he came to my house with one of my friends to ask me and my sister to hang out! And that went on for a few months!...
Then later in that year I was going to a friends party he asked if he could come, to which my friend said yes! We all played a game where you rip the chewing gum rapper and each get one meaning different things ask out kiss dump silly I know but we were 16!!... I got kiss and my H2B got ask out... So I plucked up the courage and asked him to be my boyfriend he said yes, and we had our first ever dance to Kci & Jojo all my life (which is going to be our 1st dance song at our wedding) and we shared our 1st kiss!
And we've been together ever since 15 years 4 months and counting! And after 3 children I'm going to marry my childhood sweetheart my 1st and only love and I couldn't be happier :) xx

I met my OH online before online dating became "popular!". Paid £4.99 to message him, exchanged our first email on 25 June 2006, and we are getting married exactly 10 years later on 25 June 2016! Best fiver I've ever spent!

There's so many ways people meet each other and its so interesting to read everyone's stories.

Started talking on POF (I had only been on there a few days) we had lots in common including our passion for our local football team. There was a match three days after we started talking and we met after the game for a cuppa and had a lovely date the next evening. Five weeks later he asked me to move in and seven months later he proposed. It's been fantastic.

We started talking on POF. Met up for a few dates and it went from there. Been together over 4 years now :-)

Will and I met at university. We both went for a coffee one day in London (where we were both doing the same work placement) and ended up staying for hours chatting, and that was the start of our friendship. We ended up living together the year after and became the best of friends and got closer and closer over time. When we lived together at first, both of us dated other people and he was totally commitment shy, utterly charming and a bit of a romancer. I promised myself very sincerely that I'd never fall for him!

By the time we left uni we were quite inseparable, but he went back to his hometown and I moved to London for 9 months to take my professional exams and realised I was bloody in love with him. Turned out he felt the same, so it all worked out well!

I'd absolutely love to go back in time five years and tell myself that I would end up getting married to him, my face would be a picture!

We met through a mutual friend. Sarah and me were working at an event, in the evening she kept going on about me going with her to poker so eventually after half an hour I gave in. H2B was on of the players and caught my eye so I just sat there trying to talk to him and texting Sarah at the same time to say I liked him. The only problem was one of the other guys was trying to chat me up unsuccessfully. Anyway Sarah eventually played H2B one on one and he lost and threw a bit of a tantrum and left, Sarah had let it slip to one of Mike's friends that I liked him and he told Mike. Then later one I had a friend request of him and we started talking, four hours passed, we realised we has a lot in common and he asked me out. We've been happy ever since, I really have met my soulmate.

i first met my H2B when i was 16 at work, but then i realised i knew all his friends from school and was friends with some of them myself so our paths must had crossed before. He used to really annoy me to begin with like walking up to my checkout asking me to price check a huge rug then he would leave it on my checkout and walk away. i used to get really annoyed with it especially as he would walk away laughing and i stood there struggling to pick it up odd the belt, i'm only 5ft 2 so it was nearly as big as i was haha. a while later i realized he only did these things to me and later found out that he isn't very good socially at starting conversations and this way we had many short conversations. We then started spending time together outside of work with our mutual friends and it just went from there. now im nearly 30 and he still does things on purpose to annoy me He is such a clown but i love him for it. The most annoying thing now though is when i'm trying to be mad at him he always makes me crack a smile and then our so called argument is over
