We went to book the 15th August but the venue we wanted was already booked so we went for the 8th instead. Best decision to bring it forward, I would be going mad by now!

We decided we wanted to get married either May/June 2016. We looked at some venues, narrowed them down and booked the one that had an available Saturday as the majority of my fiance's family are travelling to Sussex from Durham, so ended up with Sat 18 June :-)

We wanted an easy date to remember, but in the end we had to look on the venue's availability calender and just go with what we could find for August.

I originally started looking at winter but my gran got all funny as said should have a summer wedding and then more I thought about it more I thought summer one would be nice so started looking and couldn't figure out how to choose the date and then oh came up with 16.07.2016 and I just loved it so that's how we got it haha. Although we were looking at 2016 anyway x
