Dont feel like that hun, easier said than done I know but at the end of the day be proud of what you have achieved to date! Yes, there will always be someone that has more than you and then again alot that dont have as much!!! Try not to let this person annoy u...at the end of the day youve booked a fantastic honeymoon and you should aim to look forward! People who cannt seem to not have anything that others have are very shallow minded, jealous and with low self-esteem...just remember that!!!! xxxx

It's like she is stealing your thunder babe...I wouldn't talk to her...my boss wants me to go on my honeymoon a week after the wedding as she wants to book a holiday...I have just requested 3 weeks around my wedding and had it agreed by HR so there is nothing she can do about it!!! xxxxx

sounds just like my sister! just let it wash over you hunni, she cant buy the happiness and the memories that you and ur H2B are going to make while you are there. and personally i think if you dont have to work for it its not worth it. they are not going to have a fraction of the fun you will have next year!! xxx

I can see why it's annoyed you, but think of it another way - it's obviously nice enough to spend her rich bloke's cash on! She obviously went to have a look when she found out where you were going on honeymoon, and felt jealous!

Oh happened to me too.

My best mate kept pestering when we're gonna get married. We finally confirmed it was happening and she got all giddy.
Now she always maintained she was happy being the single career mom until I set her up with an old mate of ours.
Now within months of them getting together they got engaged (similar ring to me no less) and she said they didn't want to get married and then said they were going to get married in July (2 months before mine) NOW all of the sudden she's marrying him in November this year.

Not sure if she's trying to push in or its genuine.
So have been battling feelings of being pissed off and being happy for her. :S

can see why your upset but hey don't let it spoil what you are really looking forwards to. imitation is the greatest form of flattery why not look at it like that.

b2bnicola - why not wait til everyone at work is listening, then when say to her very loudly that you've changed your hotel because you read the reviews and the place is rancid!!!!! Then make up a few unsightly stories - and watch her change the hotel double quick lol.!!! Just make sure you can give her a name of another real hotel (and not as good so she can have a c rap time!!)

Shes probably heard you talking about it and thought it sounded great so booked it.

Not really sure what the big deal is tbh - i'd be flattered.

u will appreciate it so much more saving up for it cos you will know you did it off your own backs and not cos you have a rich bf, she can have whatever she wants, but she will never truely value it, thats why i dont care how much or how little money i have, aslong as i have my family, my H2B and my job im happy :) things are so much better when you work for it and you will treasure it and enjoy it so much more and hence remember it more and the way you felt, dont worry your honeymoon bubble hasnt been popped, you will love it more then her because you put more effort into getting it, you will cherish it more :) xx

You saved long and hard for it and you'll be on your HONEYMOON with your new hubby! Ignore it all. Your trip will be a hell of a alot more meaningful and memorable than hers.

I just said (in line with what ud just wrote tigerlily) "yeah that'd be great, im sure you'd have a fab time" and just left it at that.

She knows how I feel about it and if shes going to go then im just going to make sure she doesnt tell me anything about it!

some people are just so wrapped up in making themselves look better than everyone else they're not even aware of the lengths they go to do it I worked with a girl like this once too "anything you do she has done or will do better" I think everyone knows someone like this.
