Quick question for those of you who may have had a hog roast at your wedding.
We are having a hog roast in the evening (instead of the evening buffet) should we cater for all guests or do people find that some won't eat in the evening? I dont want to be paying for there to be masses left over like there normaly is at a buffet but I do appreciate that a Hog roast is normaly more popular than a buffet.

The only thing i have found with a hog roast is that is is always really cold. I dont think ive ever eaten one when its piping hot and thats how i like to eat mt meat. I think if you have a 100 guests then 10p guestswill eat the hog roast.. Its not like buffet when thwres hardly anything leftand it puts you off getting more people will go back for seconds with a hog eoast.

Of the ones I know of who have had it for any kind of party have not had much left afterward. I personally don't eat it, and you may find that some won't either because of vegetarian or just not liking it, but going by the reports of others there won't be much left of it.

we have a vegetarian option Glitterfairly. Mediterranean pulled veg bap (has some other stuff in the bap too but cant remember what off the top of my head)

Our venue has said to cater for 70-80% of guests- we are going 80 as we have loads of big drinkers so by the time it's bacon nap time they will want one to soak up booze lol
