I just gone to the dry cleaners and they said it would cost me 80 pounds and it probably wouldn't get all the dirt off. They said they only do it on a light setting and it would probably still be spoilt at the end of the process. I said no thanks, I'd take my chances with the washing machine! Am I being silly? Pay 80 pound to clean my dress and it wouldn't be clean. I really am considering putting it in the wash. Its no good to me dirty, so why not take the gamble, right? Whats your opinion please xx

i think i would put it in the wash on a delicate setting, if its still gonna be dirty and useless after £80, you might as swell risk the wash!

I'm told baby wipes are the best thing for getting dirty marks out of your dress. If I remember rightly Tiggs turned hers inside out and washed the bottom of it in her bath using Bold and it came up lovely

    It's right what they say
"The course of true love never runs smoothly"
But if it had been easy then we wouldn't love each other as
much as we do right now - 1 week to go :D

My friend got hers cleaned with a company that uses a special process, recommended for wedding dresses, and think they should get all marks out. It is quite expensive but it includes being wrapped in in tissue paper and stored in a keepsake box. The link is on my page if you want it.

We'll see how it turns out :) I hand washed alot out in the bath. So in about 45 mins we'll see the result. I still can't believe the lady in the dry cleaners, we'll do it but it wont be completely clean?? and at 80 pound! She did ask me how much the dress was worth and that would determine the price of the dry clean.
And all the best for you too. Not long now :-) Enjoy your day and do everything you want to too. It does go quick but the pics and videos unlock so many memories xx

I think it all a conspiracy from the dry cleaning business. I machine washed my dress and I have 3 marks left for further attention but other that that I'm well pleased xx
