just came across 1 of these in the cupboard its an old braxton picnic basket, most the plates are broke or missing and the pattern in mine is actually dogtooth but I cant bare to throw it away as i actually quite like it any ideas ladies xxxx

Id use it as a memory box, if you were getting rid of the broken bits and bats, all my memories are in shoe boxes etc, so something like that would be nice to put it all in :)

Im thinking of lining the basket with lining hun and getting rid of the plate holder part as its too big and bulky to use for picnics think im gonna start by lining it first then taking it from there xx

I'd empty it out , personalise it with pics of you both in the lid bit and put cones of real petal confetti in it at the church/venue for guests to use. Im looking for something like this myself :)

thank you kel i just didnt want to bin it im going to have a look for some ivory material to line the bottom aswell but it didnt take 2 long just printed some sheets off cut them up pva glued the board stuck them on tea stained them then acrylic spray over the top of it then just added some spare flowers and embellishments i had xxx
