I've started to think about centrepieces and just wondered what everybody else did - did you create your own or did you / are you going to hire? if anybody has any hire recommendations for the Birmingham/Solihull area that would also be great

We did our own... we bought most of our decorative bits from the r@ng3 and our venue staff set everything up for us. You can always sell them on afterwards and recoup some of the money.

I priced up to hire them or have them made and it was the same price but we can sell the bits on afterwards so have decided to buy ours and get the venue to set them up. I made sure it was in our contract that they would do all the setting up.

I made my own, but my centre pieces weren't 'conventional' anyway

I'm doing my own. My moms friend is setting them up though. She dresses events so I trust her to know what she's doing

If you want ideas on DIY pop to the official DIY thread and get some ideas there. As for hire places though, sorry I cannot help, have you tried doing a local search on here for them in the brochure section?
