Joined UKbride after my fiance proposed on the 3rd of January. We're hoping to get married in July so have loads to do. I look forward to getting to know you all a bit better and getting ideas to make my day special.

sorry, couldn't resist :) Congratulations on your engagement. July this year? Still do-able :) I would recommend dress shopping sooner rather than later, as the most places I have been to, told me I need to order this month for my wedding in August.

lol ! absolutely love that. Picked out a dress already so that's done. The church is organised and have offered the use of the hall for the reception for free

I wish I was, that's about all I've got sorted at the moment. H2b and I went to the wedding show a few weeks ago so got quite excited about a few things and started talking to people.

Hello, congratulations and welcome to the UKBride family. I would priortise the things that get booked up now, like photographer, videographer (if you want one), DJ or band, transport. Also if you want your bridesmaids dresses made you'll need to look at that soon, although if you're buying from the high street you've got plenty time there.

Thanks Elinor & luratraloora. I'd like to have photography & videography so I've added those to my to do list. We've picked out the rolls we liked at the wedding show and my bridesmaids & I are hoping to have a look at a couple of dresses next month.We're hoping to have a smallish wedding with about 100 guests.
