I knew planning a wedding was stressful but I did not expect to experience as much misery as I have so far resulting in me wondering why on earth Id even want to bother. Me and my h2b are absolutely fine but its everything and everyone else that seems to be causing me issues. I havent been on here for a while because the wedding kind of took a back foot for personal reasons but with 18 weeks to go tomorrow I need to pull my finger out, I am trying to organize my hen do (organizing my own because it seems the easiest way to do it with hardly any of my friends tlking to eachother) and no1 seems to be able to give me a simple yes or no answers which means I cant work out travel costs etc like people want me to, I had to tell a couple of people I have only met in the last year that they wont be invited to the whole day purely for cost factor and have been made to feel like the biggest b**** around. Everything I say or do is being questioned by many people and it caused me to have a massive breakdown last night. Granted I feel slightly better today but is this normal and is it going to get any better? Sorry to rrant on here I would have posted on fb but right now I just cant deal with the lash back xx

i felt really stressed last week and just cried i felt bettter the day after but no one and i mean no one has even shown an interest in the wedding i see my bms and i dont bring the wedding up and they wont either!! my mum doesnt even bring it up granted shes got court this week with my brother whos being accused of something he hasnt done but i still want to plan my wedding and im literally doing it on my own :s hope you feel better soon xx

Weddings bring out the worst in people, and sometimes you just have to say "tough, we're doing it our way". With the hen do, set a deadline for people to respond, and then put your foot down and make it clear that if they don't respond by the deadline they will not be able to go. Don't feel bad about leaving people of the guest list; no one has the right to expect to be invited. I think generally the people who complain are either people who had no budget constraints and were able to invite the whole town, or people who are not yet married and therefore haven't met that problem yet.

get married on the 5th september at registry office then reception at bowdon marquee room i hope my brothers going to be ok because if he gets sentenced he wont be here for the wedding and were really close n ill probs postpone :( xx

The only whiteness was a family member of ours and they won't let him be a whiteness because they're siblings so they're just taking the apparent victims word for it, there's no evidence either, but will see how it goes :/ xx

It will come down to credibility in that case. His defense just has to create sufficient doubt that the magistrates/jury can't be confident that he's guilty. That seems unfair that a family member can't be a witness, if there is no one else. Maybe if it goes wrong there are appeal grounds there.

Just got this text from mum Hya love case collapsed because She started crying when she was cross examined he got to go back in 3 weeks for sentencing xx So god knows what will happen but she's obviously started crying because she lied in the first place and now can't keep her story straight xx

Hang on though, surely if the case collapsed he can't be convicted and won't be sentenced? Was it a supposed victim who broke down and couldn't keep her story straight?

Yeah was supposed 'victim' who started crying and couldn't keep her story straight I think he won't get sent down at least now but will probs still recieve some form of punishment But his barrester said it's looking good for him now *fingers crossed* xx

Definitely fingers crossed for justice. A wrong conviction can really affect someone's future. I would have hoped that if the "victim" couldn't give evidence and the case collapsed he wouldn't even get convicted. It's going to be a hard three weeks for you all waiting on a judgement.

just spoke to my brother properly he only has to go back for hissentencing because he pleaded gukity to one charge his barrister is 100 percent sure he wont go to prison so im so happy xx
