Hi guys, I wonder if anyone has any good ideas to help my Mum feel special on the big day? She is already stressing about finding the right outfit but when she finally does I'm wondering about accessories to make her stand out. Because she has short hair there is very little that she'll be able to do to make herself look different from the norm. I just can't picture her in a hat or fascinator and neither can she. Any suggestions I might not have considered or has anyone seen something elegant and understated that might be a good option? Doesn't matter about colours at the mo. Looking for inspiration.

    Hi Laura,
Maybe your mum could have a nice clip or slide in her hair they have some lovely ones in d3b3nh@ms at the mo, or even maybe treat your mum into having her hair done when you and the bridesmaids are getting yours done so she feels includes and looks amazing. Xx

I know you say neither of you can imagine her in a hat or fascinator but its definitely worth a try once she finds her outfit. Its a bit like if you are unsure about wearing a veil and then you try one with your dress and you may love it or hate it. It just depends.

If your wedding is in summer would a nice parasol work to keep the sun off her? X

Yea definitely try some fascinators, she may be surprised. They look great I love them and you can get little simple ones, nothing over the top

Agree with the other ladies once she has found her outfit try some fascinators. It doesn't have to be anything big and ott could just be something simple and elegant that will match her outfit. My mum was the same when I got married previously was adamant that she wasn't wearing a hat or fascinator as she didn't think it would look right on her but once she got it she actually suited it. xx

im paying for my mum to have her hair done with the bridesmaids, my mum feels herself a young mother of the bride as she is oly 41 (will be 42 at the time of the wedding) and so says she will feel silly with a hat or fascinator so i know how you feel, maybe have her hair in a lovely up do with some pins or a clip similar to these

I know some of these are bridal hair but they are simple enough to not overdo the bride and still look amazing
