Ok, so I'm getting married in June this year and there's still a few details that need to be finished e.g. bunting that I've been making myself with help of family and bridesmaids. My mum has always thought it would be a good idea to hole punch the bunting because it would be easier. I've said right from the beginning that I don't like it with holes and would rather have it glued. I've tried this and it really isn't hard to do. Today my mum has said that she's "going to have to put her foot down" and is insisting that we hole punch it. I explained again that I don't like it with holes and it's easy to glue. She then said that she's gone along with everything that I've said so far, but this is something that she knows better. I pushed my point and brought up that it's my wedding and shouldn't it be how I want it, and she's told me that I can sort it out on my own now.
It all sounds a little silly, but it's causing a problem. What do I do??

just have a chat with your mum it really isnt something worth arguing about. maybe just do the bunting with you bridesmaids and dont mention it again to your mum. just focus on the other bits x

Like the ladies have said, it's not worth arguing about! If your mum doesn't want to do it how you want it then just do it yourself x

Ohh honestly women and their strops. LOL. Just go ahead and do it and show her the finished result.
She'll feel slightly annoyed but at least you're not arguing over holes!!

Do some of it, show your mum the result, then maybe she will understand why you want it glued and not hole punched.

I agree, definitely not worth arguing over. If your bridesmaids are willing to continue helping then set your mum on to something else and you guys concentrate on the bunting!
