We're thinking about just leaving a card at everyone's place to say that a small donation will be made by us from everyone who attended the wedding reception to a charity of our choice.Of course we will have the charity sorted by then so people know where the donation will go.For children we are filling cone shaped bags with mini marshmallows,rainbow drops,white mice etc .I know ones who have had personalised chocolate heart lollies as placecards/favors or even a scratchcard for everyone lol.

we're having handmade chocolates...brother and sister-in-law have a chocolate company and its their wedding present to us :)

we're not having any favours - not sure that helps you! We can't afford to give out favours as well as pay for their meals, welcome drinks, toast drinks etc, plus the last few weddings I've been to half of them were left on tables. I know that people will have a great day anyway, so not having any favours really won't make much of a difference anyway - and if people are really bothered they can jog on!! lol!

thanks ladies,SoonToBeMrs.C it true what u said they are having a 3 course sit down meal and a buffet in the evening.and a candy cart fully of sweets and wedding cake and my father inlaw is also putting £500 behind the bar.

We are having organza bags and putting love harts in them. U can get organza bags really cheap they are only £5 for 20 in a very well known craft shop. U could also put chocolate harts In them they are only £10 for a lot of them in a box for the same shop (it dosen't state how meany are I'm there exactly). Hope that helps x

Ha - I know July 2014! who'd have thought this wedding mallarky was expensive!! I think whatever favours you give - if you choose to give anything should be what you want to give them, keep them simple haha. x

We had Cancer Research donation cards for everyone and a gold chocolate coin both placed in a Chinese wedding red and gold packet.
