    Hello ladies

Any of you got any experience and tips on putting a brooch bouquet together?!

I have wired all my brooches (several times now!) and I have tried using a bouquet wire oasis collar but I didn't like the colour visible underneath, I also tried black fake flowers but they don't hold the brooches in place as they just drop through.

It's beginning to do my head in! Ive looked online for tutorials and not found an answer really as they just recommend taping them together but I hate being able to see through or behind the brooches. I wondered if scrunched up black tissue paper would be ok??

    Arggggggggghhhhhhhhhhhhhh!

Could you use black florist wire? We found some in a cake shop of all places, you couldn't really see it under the brooches xx

My brooches are wired twice, that is to say it has two anchor points on the brooch and the twisted together, so basically 4 wires if you get me. Mine stand up straight no matter what because of this

I'm in exactly the same position Goth, I've had them wired into stems since October but I can't seem to put them into a bouquet. They overlap and look uneven. I've asked my bms if they can sit with me one night and brainstorm and failing that I'm going to ask my florist if there is anything she can suggest.

ladies if you have a large bowl it sounds silly but try making or starting your bouquet upside down as this helps with the shape as the brooch sits in the bowl and you can wire it together without it dropping or slipping its how I make my large button bouquets and it helps me xx
