    Hi all,

Hope its ok to post this on here. You are brilliant in giving advise and help to me for planning my own wedding.
However....I have a wedding that im to attend in a few weeks time. I don't ever go to weddings and have no idea what to wear. I don't have any spare money or time to go dress shopping atm (long story but my dad is in critical care) I don't even know the person who's wedding it is, i've only met her twice for like an hour max, my OH works with her. Her wedding is at a registry office followed by a village hall(hog roast)

Do you think it would be ok to wear a dip hem dress. I already have this you see but don't know if its suitable and deemed wedding guest appropriate. I will try and post a pic to my profile.

    Any advise greatly received

    x

Just had a look and that dress will be fine; it doesn't really matter what you wear as long as it's not white ;)

Thank you, i'm avoiding white and blue as its her colours but I don't want people to stare/gossip about me me as i don't know anyone that's going and feel awkward enough as it is.

Yes I think thats perfect for a wedding especially as this seems like a quite relaxed wedding so no need to wear anything too fancy like a cocktail dress. I am sure you will look lovely on the day :)

I think being in something you feel comfortable in is the first criteria .... If you are happy in what you are wearing you will look fab
