My H2B and i are getting married in May next year, we have booked a magician and a disco, but my H2B really wanted a live band playing, i don't think we can fit it all in and really don't know what to do?
also it makes things way more expensive.
Do we just stick with the magician, who is coming after the wedding breakfast for and hour and for an hour when the evening guests arrive, then have the disco after that onwards till we finish at 12.
Or do i try and get a band to do a set and then have the disco, i just think its too much in one night .....help!!!

I think it would be a bit too much too (not to mention expensive). I personally would keep the magician and the DJ, or swap the DJ for a live band, but would not have both.
I wanted a magician but OH isn't keen.. I think it would be amazing and the guests would love it!! x

Yes the magician is something i wanted, i think i might just stick with that and the disco, i love the idea of a magician as it will entertain people if he/ she is good enough to capture their attention.

Yeah definitely. There was a magician at one of my work do's a couple of years ago who went round all the tables doing tricks.. I was absolutely amazed as had never seen anything like that with my own eyes, only on television. It was great!!! X

:) yes, we seen one similar to this and he did some tricks for us at a wedding fair, it was amazing and we were really impressed, i made sure i kept his card and messaged him about a month ago praying we could book him for our wedding, just so happened he was free.
I was surprised, as it was really funny , as we were stood next to a couple who had the exact same date as us and he joked that we would be fighting over him, i half expected him to be already taken, but i didn't want to rush my decision
