Wedding Forum - Hello! :wave: sort of newbie intro!...

Hello everyone!

Just introducing myself as I will for the next however long annoy you all with constant questions! A little backstory..
OH and I got engaged on my birthday 2 years ago at Thorpe park. Were booked to get married in 2013 but then we had our youngest lil girl, we have 3 kiddies so pushed it back to this year. Then decided around Xmas time last year that we couldn't afford it need a bigger house a bigger car etc so cancelled it & put on hold to be done at a later date, smaller and nearer my home town in Bristol!

My mums always said she would help out with wedding costs but never knew how much so we just thought we would be paying for most of it so haven't even thought about wedding planning for a long time til we have the money!
Sooooo anyway fast forward to this weekend when my mum visits and mentions if we were still thinking of getting married in 2015 as times ticking on and holiday needs to be booked etc, said I hadn't even thought about it recently with monies etc and she said that she would pay for it anyway!!
What?! If she had told me that months ago I would've been planning like a mo fo!!
So now I'm stressed knowing I can get married next year but need to get on with it!! And don't know how to be polite with mum emailing her venues I like but want to get something booked and done rather than a 'oh that's nice' kind if thing bouncing back and forth..
Used to be on ukbride couple years ago but blast if I could remember a single detail so started over again!

Ha thanks! Yes I just need a day I can travel up that way really to be able to visit the places with her, I'm in kent and she's in bristol :)

Yeah I think I'm just realising times running out and just want something booked so I can get on with looking into everything else and dress shopping! Don't think I'm going to get up there til October now as mums away and I'm working!
