This is a really stupid question I know...
What sort of skincare regime should I have daily? I've alway had good skin without using anything on it and I don't wear make up regularly. However since I've been doing a lot of exercise daily over the past month I've noticed it becoming dry. I try to avoid chemicals as much as posible and prefer natural solutions.

    Thanks in advance.

I am hoping to have natural looking make up for my wedding day as I hardly ever wear any and dont like wearing loads, can you recommend any tinted mousturisers or very light foundation (not good with heavy foundation as it reacts badly with my skin) that I could try, on a budget so nothing too costly, thanks x

    Hi,
Well its really important to have a 3 step routine. Cleanse, tone & moisturise with what ever products you like to use, but it is really important to do all 3 steps to get the most out of your skin. Neal's yard have a fantastic range of natural products.
    Hope that helps.

I never wear makeup other than sometimes eyeliner and mascara!
I haven't the faintest idea of how to put half of it on. I have really good skin even though I never wear foundation, and rarely even wash my face with anything other than a splash of water.
I don't want to pay a professional for makeup, but I don't know how to get a really beautiful look whilst doing it myself?
    Thanks xx

I love the Johnsons holiday skin. You need to use it maybe everyday the week before the wedding as it will gradually build up. They make two seperate ones - one for your face and one for your body. Give it a try!

I'm sure I've asked this before, but couldn't find the post. I have really short, sparse eyelashes so can't decide whether to go for false lashes on the day, or have some of the semi-permanent supplied - any tips?

Lisa - With dark hair & dark eyes I would go for browns creams and whites on your eyes.
Kizzy - Go for false lashes the day before. If you go to your MAC counter, they will put them on for you for about £8. - Bargain!!

Ok, here's one - I want to look like me on my wedding day. 'Me' however is generally heavily made up, especially around the eyes - eyeshadow, glitter and eyeliner feature especially often.

How easy/difficult is it to get a wedding make-up bod who'll be able to do something OTHER than the 'natural look', because that's all I've ever seen brides wear! Or would I be better doing it myself?

Any good make up artist should be able to do a whole range of looks. Have a look at pictures on their websites, or look at the artists own make up - I wear loads!

Hi! I have a hair question ... I have a natural 'wave' in my hair, which sometimes looks lovely, and others just looks like a big fluffy mess!! Mostly the latter so I end up straightening it. I feel like I just havnt found the right product to use to keep it under control but let it curl. I imagine that a professional product would be better, Any suggestions?!?!

Magsy - Yes of course there is hope!! Invest in a good moisturiser and make sure you use a base product before your make up.

Lisalou - Next time you visit your hairdresser ask her/him to show you how to dry your hair, what products to use and how to get the best out of your wave. All proffessional ranges will have a wavy/curly sub line.

I am worried about my make-up on the day. I am a spot sufferer and I always have atleast one. I am sure I have an allergy which causes half of them, but I havent figured out what it is yet. I also have sensitive skin so alot of products are too harsh for me, especially ones that are recommended for spots. I just know that a few days before the wedding I am going to have an outbreak.

I want a bit of a curl for the big day, but I can't seem to keep a curl.
Tried hairspray, mousse, curling iron...even rags overnight!

    Hello Ladies!
    Sorry for the delay...........

Lisa - Camoflage make up is made for covering tattoos and scars, its just like a really thick pigmented consealer, so you will need to pick the right shade for you. Just apply with a normal make up sponge.

Flatellie - Try not to worry too much about your spots (easer said than done, I know!) but stress is a major factor in outbreaks. Stick to products that you know suit your skin, and don't risk using anything new that might react.

Possom - Uh oh! Your hair sounds a challege, but with the right equiptment and good proffessional products curl should stay (I say should!) I have never had anyones curls fall out, well not that I know of!!

Lesley - Why do you hate wearing make up??? You don't like doing it? You don't like the way it looks? Or you don't like the way it feels? If you don't like doing it, easy solved - get someone else to do it. If you dont like the way it looks, try doing something different - Go to a make up counter in a department store and get them to do it for you and advise on what colours and products will suit you. Or if you don't like the way it feels, a proffessional artist should be able to give you a fantastic looks without you feeling like it is caked on.
But I am afraid to say, people are right the photos will look great. But if you feel comfertable with or without make up, you will feel great and confident and that will shine through on your photos too.

    Hope that helps

Bee - You need a good concealer, a green one to counteract redness (vie @ Home correct and perfect) you also need a base or primer (Clinique pore minimizer instant perfector or Benefit's Dr Fell good)

    Hi KrazyKitty,

Im afraid I dont really know what you can do about your coldsore, maybe ask your GP. As far as not washing your hair for a few days before - you can! But just not on the day of the wedding. If you can manage to do it the moring before that is good, but if it is the the evening before that should be ok too.

I am on a really tight budget and can't really fit a make-up artist into that budget so I'm looking to do my make-up myself, I want to go for something natural but I'm worried that I'm going to look to pale as I have really fair skin, is there a good tanning product that you can recommend that wont streak? Also my eyelashes are extremely short (practically not existant, lol) where can I find some quality natural looking false ones? x

Stacey - Try looking on YouTube for a demonstration of how to put your extensions in.

KrazyKitty - Beware of very cheap extensions. You really get what you pay for when it comes to extensions. You really need double wefted real hair ones for them to look natural. Have a look at www.salonconfidential.co.uk

Laura - I love Johnsons holiday skin! Its a tinted moisturiser that gradually builds your tan everytime you use it. Dove make one too. They are less than £10 and last ages.

Laura - (again, sorry!) MAC a do fantastic range of lashes. If you go to your local MAC counter the day before your wedding they can put them on for you for about £8 and they will stay on for your wedding.

My hair is naturally straight and quite heavy but I would like it curled and half up for the wedding. What is the best way to practice at home? Are rollers better than ceramic curlers? I want just loose curls and don't want to end up looking like a poodle.

Couple of questions.... trying to grow my hair but its taking ages, had a very short bob when I got engaged and now its still a couple of inches from reaching my shoulders - any suggestions for fabbing it up for the wedding if it doesnt grow much more? Dont want extensions! Its that stupid halfway length at the moment, how much longer should it grow in 8 months?? Also, can you recommend a good long lasting concealer, have a small blemish on my jaw line that I want to cover up and keep it covered all day!
