She tried an up do, but I was more comfortable with half and half. I'm a bit of tomboy so I'm way out of my comfort zone with everything wedding dress, fancy hair etc. I also lack self confidence so this was the perfect hairstyle for me :o) I absolutely love the curls :o)

Thank you :o) My hair is so fine that that sort of style normally drops straight out after 5 minutes, but the hairdresser has promised me that it will stay put all day. She put dry shampoo on it before she styled it then put hair spray on. The curls are still in 7 hours later!

It's gorgeous Charlotte, I had a similar style when I was bridesmaid for my auntie a few years back :) I would like something similar but my hair is so thin and light it just doesn't hold curls well at all, they would have dropped within a few hours! X

I would also love naturally curly hair... gorgeous.

Mine is just wavy.

Really hoping it grows quite a bit before the wedding still.... although it has grown a fair bit in the past year, I keep thinking it's still really short-but considering how short I had it cut (I forget until I look back at pictures that the back of my hair was as short as it was) and it's now around my shoulders.) Luckily it somehow managed to grow pretty even as well.

Would have been saved the hassle if my fiancé had put me off going for the chop a week before he proposed. He said he couldn't have said anything as I would have known he was planning on proposing, but all he had to say was ''do what you want but I really don't think it would suit you, I really like your hair long'' and I wouldn't have done it.

MrsK2b no you're not the only one. My hair is curly and wave with the one straight patch (no idea how that happened) so I have to blow dry my hair straight then curl otherwise it's a frizzy mess which I have to wash through the next morning or it becomes a birds nest :-S

Flossie my hair is very fine too and doesn't hold curls well. The hairdresser put dry shampoo on it first, styled it and then put hairspray in. The curls were still in this morning when I got up. She also told me not to wash it. Apparently it makes it better to work with as it would've been too soft if I'd washed it.

Oooh never heard of that technique before! I have to wash mine though as it gets really greasy.. I hold off every other day but on the 2nd day I have to shove it up as it is too greasy to wear down. :( xx

I'm the same Flossie. I have to wash my hair every day. I washed it last thing on Friday night before I went to bed and it was fine on Saturday. I forgot to ask if it will be ok to wash it on the morning of the wedding

Maybe do what you did for the trial and wash it the night before?
