Pipa Middleton's bridesmaid dress was white. I've noticed it being a thing on book of face x

White used to be a tradition for the bridal party. It was to show pureness and protect the bride from evil spirits, like the wedding veil :) x

At least white bridesmaids dresses would be the bride's decision, not just people randomly turning up in white thinking it's okay! I do quite like white bridesmaids dresses actually, wouldn't be something I'd have myself though!

I don't think I would really mind if someone wore a dress that was white as I would doubt it would similar to a white bridal gown. I think if someone was going to wear a white dress they usually team it with a different coloured jacket or accessories etc so it wouldn't look like they were part of the bridal party. I have seen a few shops advertising wedding guest outfits that include white dresses and they usually have a pattern to it or a hint of other colours.
