Over the weekend I found a wedding venue on groupon; 80 guests, three course meal, arrival drinks, half a bottle with meal and toasting drinks. Dj and disco, cost of venue hire, private bar and garden area, toastmaster and overnight stay for bride and groom all for just 2999.99 and I was able to book it now for my wedding next November.
Figured this was too good to be true so went down to the hilton hotel in cobham and OMG it was lovely. Had to act quick as the el expired midnight yesterday so spent all day at work with the coordinator making sure there were no hidden extras and booked it for 6th november 2015. So happy as we were on a tight budget and now we can splash a bit on cake, flowers, photography and extra drinks for our guests :)
Any bargain hunters out there should Def keep an eye out on groupon :))

There are some fab prices on there but I'm having loads of guests and the extra PP made the deals not as good for me :(
There has been some good extras for weddings too from sweets to hen/stag do events :)
Somehow always connected , finally became friends .

Thanks guys. They're only charging 30 pp for any extras so we figured if push come to shove and we needed between 10-20 more guests it's still a really good deal :) x

I kept looking at these but we wanted a july wedding and the offers were off peak season only. However I think you have a fantastic deal and congratulations on picking your venue x

That's amazing hun, we always said we'd book one of them as we saw some great looking one's, but they were never anywhere near us, always the next town along which is too far for us to justify travelling for the wedding really.

Woop woop. I actually wanted the Saturday but my partner liked the idea of a long weekend for us and our guests. We could have picked any date between now and end of November next year but my Reece was stuck on the November 6th and I suppose he should have some input :p lol x

that's great stuff, i've been trying to weigh up the pro's and con's of having a package deal or bringing everything together ourselves. it's good to hear your experience has been a positive one! very reassuring!
