Wedding Forum - Gift List Poem....

Just after your opinions really.

We have a Gift List with J.L and the company we booked our Honeymoon through are linked to J.L so we can also include a Honeymoon donation pot to our gift list which is what we have opted to do so as to give people an option of what to give us (if anything at all). I have tried to combine a few of the poems out there with my own ideas to make it a little different to your usual poem that you can get.

This is what I have come up with:

To celebrate our wedding you may wish to buy us presents
However this is not required, all we want is your presence
If you insist, we must admit, we have a J0Hn L3wis Wedding List
To help us improve our home at a later date
Or even replace a broken plate!
Included in our list is an option for a Honeymoon donation
To put towards our post Wedding vacation
But most importantly, we request
You share our day as our Wedding Guest.


What do you think? Would you change anything and does it clearly convey that we have both options?
Sometime you just need another pair of eyes and ears to clarify these things lol!

Also, the Honeymoon reference number, do you think I should write it on the bottom of the poem or on the actual Gift List card?
