So my bridesmaid cant make the wedding as she is starting chemo :-(

I cant get any refunds so.waa just wondering when it comes to her flowers, would it be best to change it to a boxed boquet to be delivered to her house the night before or keep original flowers which r silk and buy a nice vase so she can have them to keep? Its such a sad time atm.for every1 and i still want her to feel part of our day even if she cant be there as she is completed gutted she wont be there

    Thx hun shes a strong 1! :-)

I have plans to make her feel "involved and there" little suprise photos and signs throught the day as she said she wants to feel as tho shes not missing anything.

Going to take her stuff over the week of the weddin.. her jewellery and littlr.gifts i got. Also made a box up for her daughter so will take that too with her flowers and find a nice vase or something to put them in with a big card

And after ill have cakes to take over for them lol x

Oh goodness, so sorry about your BM , poor love, she must be going through such an awful time and can't be easy for you either to see her ill.

I prefer the idea of sticking with the silk flowers and then getting a vase so she can keep them forever. I know that is what I'd rather have xxx

    Sorry to hear about that.

I personally think that it would be nicer to have the silk flowers. It will make it more special to her and feel like she was still part of it.

not sure how your budget is fixed, but could you book one of those 'experience' days, so then she doesnt need to commit to an actual date until she is ready and you could maybe do a wine tasting/tea for two or something along those lines?

im not sure what the bouquet looks like, but if it was artificial, id keep it as a bouquet and not vase it, ive propped my own artificial one up and left it there on display?

So sorry. its a horrible thing to go through especially at such a special time. I like the idea of leaving her flowers as they were because that way they are still significant for the wedding.

sending love to you all. xx

Sorry to hear about your BM, must be awful. I really like the idea of giving her her bouquet to keep, that way it's really personal to her and gives her a piece of the wedding x

Not to worry :-) x ty tho would of been a very nice idea had we already had it altered

ok so still thinking about this ..... what about ...

you get her on skype ( or face time ) someone carries ipad or laptop down the aisle ,with the other BMs ,the person with device then stands /sits with the other Bms .....

this way everything she sees would be just as she would if she was there and she would have her flowers just as the others do.
