Although my hen weekend is meant to be a surprise for me I was thinking of putting together some gift bags for the girls to say thanks for giving up a weekend to be with me. I thought the BMs might get some of those pre-filled ones with the shot glasses and willy straws and things (because one of my BMs arranged some for another BM's hen a couple of years ago) but this morning I got an email from a certain adult store online offering a free toy when spending £10 so I went and had a look at the website and found a hen party bundle that comes with a toy, some fluffy handcuffs, jellies and a big chocolate lolly for £12 which I thought was pretty good value and since it looks like there will only be 6 of us it won't break the bank if I get a bundle for each of the girls.
Is it a good or bad idea? Should I stop interfering and just let the BMs get on with it?

I think it's a lovely idea, I don't think it's interfering either as it's not like the pack of things which is to go towards the night (like the straws ect.) I think either that or another gift bag with just a little thank you present in is a great idea. I might pinch it when it comes to my hen next year :)

Your gift bags sound like lots of fun!
I've done gift bags with mini bottles of rosé, strawberry face mask, cherry lip balm, packets of love hearts, mini bath bombs, Lindor chocolates, candles and just waiting for the handbag holders to arrive - these seemed appropriate for my friends and the mums attending.

I agree. If you're happy to spend a little more on something nice for them to thank them then go for it :) x

Thanks ladies, I'll order these now. Just been out for a few drinks with 2 of my BMs and whilst walking home I told one of them about the idea and she loved it so will definitely be getting them. I did a little research before I went out and it turns out it's cheaper to buy each item individually rather than as a bundle (£9.50) so I might be extra nice a spring for some batteries for them as well!
