    Afternoon Ladies xXx

Been thinking about guest book ideas, me and my h2b was thinking we would have a giant canvas with a picture of us on it and people can sign around it?

I have put a picture of the idea in my photo album :)

Let me know what you think

    xXx

they do this with photo frames and don't put the glass in and a small picture in the middle, the only thing with a canvas is that if someone presses too hard they could go through??? you could always do it in a frame as above and take it to a photo mounter and get them to scan it in and put it on canvas for you once its all been signed?

I actually really like the idea of canvas, the one in your pics is lovely. I like how the background is all white so people can write everywhere and not just around a square image in the middle.

just remove it before guests have had too much to drink as I have heard of some very dodgy messages which appear.

Oooh thats a good idea, we want to do it with a picture and with a large border, the problem with canvases is when you try to write on them, i do a fair bit of painting and Ive used fine nib pens for doing some outlining, they don't last 5 minutes, so you'd need quite the stash of marker pens I think! I can't imagine regular pens would work at all... so just make sure you stock up

It is a fab idea, just stock up on the pens! Ive posted a couple of links on your wall, the images don't show up though, I dont know how to do it... just copy paste them in your browser if they don't work, just showing you which fine tips to go for and which to avoid haha. The really fine nib ones look like a spider has walked through ink, and they last about 5 minutes, also the tips blunt out pretty quickly on the ones I reccomend, so I think you'd need someone to be extra vigilant and make sure no one is inadvertantly making a mess of it!

I'm desperately trying to not sound like Im pishing on your chips lol, but I'm just literally finishing off a painting as we speak and a lot of it has been fine detail with both versions of the markers haha
